How We Started

flicker-frame began in 2012 when founder Marcus Chen decided that homeowners deserved better from their renovation contractors. After years working in commercial construction management, he'd seen how large projects were run with precision and accountability. He believed residential clients deserved the same professional approach.

What started as a two-person operation in a small Brentford workshop has grown into a team of specialists covering every aspect of home renovation. We've maintained the personal touch that defined our early days while building the capability to handle substantial projects.

Our growth has been deliberate. We've added team members only when we found people who shared our standards. We've invested in training and equipment that allows us to deliver consistently excellent results. And we've never taken on more work than we could complete properly.
